Psalms 119:45 says:
“And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.”
Have you ever thought about walking at liberty? Walking in freedom is something that most of us probably don’t think about. But what a beautiful thought to walk in complete freedom with nothing holding you back. In the Amplified it reads:
“And I will walk at liberty and at ease, for I have sought and inquired for [and desperately required] Your precepts.”
The first point I want to make is when you seek for something you can’t do it passively. It’s a seeking diligently with a whole heart. You are requiring to know the answer. It’s a getting alone with God and not being distracted with anything else kind of a thing. Now in order to walk in liberty the Word says to seek God’s precepts.
Precepts is this: detailed instruction from the Lord, direction. It’s comes down to this, because you inquire and require God’s instructions/directions and you have heard from God, you can walk at liberty. In spite of what people may say, in spite of the current situations around you, because you heard God you can walk in freedom.
People might say you are crazy but you have to know they haven’t heard from God and you have! If God says to walk on water and other people say you will die, you can walk at liberty that you won’t die because you have heard God’s direction. (Not saying to go try to walk across the ocean). The point being you must know what God’s direction is and once you know it, walk it in freedom and in ease.
